[Comments on V. N. Fatenkov's article, "New aspects concerning the phase structure of cardiac cycle"]

The authors discuss the major assumptions of the new concept of cardiac cycle structure, suggested by Professor V. N. Fatenkov. Analysis of the experimental and clinical data has lead them to a conclusion that the suggested concept is well-grounded and therefore may and should become a check point for further studies of cardiac biomechanics.
