    Summary

    Removing bile or pancreatic juice from a dog's duodenum did not cause ulcers. This suggests the duodenum inhibits stomach acid secretion, preventing ulcer formation.

    • To investigate the effect of removing bile and pancreatic juice from the duodenum on ulcer formation in dogs.
