[Rupture of the diaphragm in an HF cow]

After 284 days of pregnancy a cow showed acute symptoms of severe dyspnea. In an attempt to save the calf a Caesarean section was performed. During surgery a rupture was observed in the diaphragm, which was verified at autopsy.
