    Summary

    This study reports a rare case of camptodactyly, a finger bending disorder, in a young male. The condition, affecting his little and ring fingers, also presented with knuckle pads and a family history.

    Background:

    • Camptodactyly is a rare congenital limb malformation characterized by a non-extensible digit.
    • It can be an isolated finding or part of a syndrome.
    • Familial inheritance patterns are common.

    Observation:

    • A 23-year-old male presented with bilateral little finger and left ring finger camptodactyly.
    • He also exhibited knuckle pads on one of the affected little fingers.
    • His elder sister was also diagnosed with camptodactyly.

    Findings:

    • The case highlights the phenotypic variability of camptodactyly.
    • The presence of knuckle pads suggests a potential association with other connective tissue findings.
    • A positive family history supports a genetic etiology for this patient's camptodactyly.
