Summary

Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) group A is linked to neurological issues. This study found that neurological complications, including sensorineural deafness and spinocerebellar signs, worsen with age, suggesting a progressive neurodegenerative disease.

Background:

  • Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by defective DNA repair.
