Differential human Th22-lymphocyte response triggered by Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans serotypes

Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans serotype b uniquely triggers a Th22 immune response. This suggests Th22 cell polarization may occur in periodontal lesions when serotype b is present in subgingival biofilms.
