Long non-coding RNA HULC as a potential prognostic biomarker in human cancers: a meta-analysis

- Elevated HULC expression correlated with a lower likelihood of lymph node metastasis (OR = 0.20, 95% CI: 0.06-0.64).
- Higher HULC expression was also linked to reduced distant metastasis (OR = 0.27, 95% CI: 0.13-0.54) and less advanced tumor stage (OR = 0.39, 95% CI: 0.25-0.64).

- The findings from this meta-analysis indicate that elevated HULC expression serves as a favorable prognostic biomarker in human cancers.
- HULC expression levels can potentially predict patient outcomes and disease progression, including metastasis and tumor staging.
