Immunomodulatory Drugs (IMiDs) in Multiple Myeloma

Immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs) have significantly improved survival for multiple myeloma (MM) patients. Newer IMiDs like lenalidomide and pomalidomide offer enhanced efficacy and manageable toxicity in MM treatment.

- Multiple myeloma (MM) is a plasma cell cancer causing anemia, renal failure, hypercalcemia, and bone lesions.
- Survival in MM has improved with immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs) and proteasome inhibitors (PI).

- IMiDs have improved MM survival and quality of life.
