The Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36 (SF-36) can objectively measure significant activity reduction in patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). This tool helps standardize the definition of functional impairment in these conditions.
