Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy with retroperitoneal inferior vena cava (IVC) tumor thrombectomy is a safe and effective treatment for renal cell carcinoma. This minimally invasive approach offers advantages over open surgery, with successful outcomes in initial patient cases.
