  • To evaluate the diagnostic performance of a five-gene expression panel in differentiating patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) from those with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

  • Quantitative real-time PCR was used to measure mRNA expression levels of five genes in leukocytes from patients with schizophrenia (n=17) and bipolar disorder (n=36).
