Visual dysfunction and its correlation with retinal changes in patients with Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients show impaired contrast sensitivity vision and color vision, linked to retinal thinning. Macular thickness and retinal nerve fiber layer measurements correlate with visual dysfunction in AD.
