  • Successful treatment of recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding was achieved through coil embolization of the gastroduodenal artery.
  • No bleeding recurrence was observed post-embolization.

Implications:

  • Hemosuccus pancreaticus should be considered in pediatric patients with chronic pancreatitis and recurrent GI bleeding.
  • Conventional angiography and subsequent coil embolization offer an effective therapeutic strategy for this condition.
