Membranous glomerulonephritis associated with sarcoidosis

• Two patients with sarcoidosis involving pulmonary hilar lymph nodes presented with nephrotic syndrome.

• Both patients were diagnosed with membranous glomerulonephritis via renal biopsy.
• One patient also exhibited renal vein thrombosis alongside membranous glomerulonephritis.

Implications:

• This case series highlights a potential association between sarcoidosis and membranous glomerulonephritis.
• Further research is warranted to understand the pathogenesis of kidney involvement in sarcoidosis.
