Abstract:
Atherosclerosis is associated with increased expression of adhesion molecules by vascular endothelium.
Aim:
to study endothelial expression of platelet endothelial cellular adhesion molecules (PECAM) (CD31), intercellular adhesion molecules (ICAM-1), vascular cell adhesion molecules (VCAM-1F) as well as T-cells and monocytes adhered to endothelium.
Methods:
Research materials were en face specimens.
