  • Funduscopy revealed a choroidal lesion that spontaneously resolved.

Findings:

  • This case represents the third reported instance of choroidal effusion potentially linked to ARB use.
  • Diagnostic workup excluded inflammatory and malignant etiologies for the observed choroidal lesion.

Implications:

  • Clinicians should consider ARBs as a potential cause of idiosyncratic ciliochoroidal effusion.
  • Differential diagnosis of choroidal effusion requires ruling out more common conditions like inflammation or malignancy.
