Intermittent vibration protects aged muscle from mechanical and oxidative damage under prolonged compression

Intermittent vibration may prevent deep tissue pressure ulcers in aged individuals. This study found that vibration reduced muscle breakdown and oxidative stress during prolonged compression in aged mice.
