A novel long non-coding RNA, p53-inducible cancer-associated RNA transcript 1 (PICART1), acts as a tumor suppressor. PICART1 is downregulated in cancers and inhibits growth and metastasis by modulating the AKT/GSK3β/β-catenin pathway.
