Summary

Microvascular blood flow in the Achilles tendon, assessed via laser-Doppler flowmetry, predicts patient outcomes after acute Achilles tendon rupture (ATR). Higher blood flow in the injured limb correlates with better combined functional and patient-reported results at one year.
