Summary

Dishevelled, Egl-10 and Pleckstrin (DEP) domain-containing protein 5 (DEPDC5) mutations are linked to focal epilepsy. Targeting DEPDC5 may offer a more selective approach to treating mTOR-related epilepsy than current inhibitors.
