Antibiotic therapy for pelvic inflammatory disease.

This review found no conclusive evidence that one antibiotic regimen is superior for treating pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). However, moderate evidence suggests azithromycin may be more effective than doxycycline for mild-to-moderate PID.
