[Effect of adenosine on cyclic nucleotide levels in brain structures]

Adenosine and dipyridamole alter cyclic nucleotide levels in specific brain regions. Cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) showed reciprocal relationships in the cortex, but not other studied brain areas.
