[Correlation between serum adiponectin level and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease]

Serum adiponectin levels are lower in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients and correlate with cognitive decline. Lower levels were observed in moderate and severe AD, but not mild AD, compared to healthy controls.
