Erythromycin Prophylaxis for Neonatal Conjunctivitis: Ointment Versus Drops.

Switching from individualized erythromycin ointment to shared erythromycin drops did not change the rate of neonatal conjunctivitis (NC). This study found no significant difference in clinical or bacterial NC rates between the two formulations.
