  • Mean scores: SNOT-22 (43.82), SF-12 Mental Component Summary (MCS) (46.53), SF-12 Physical Component Summary (PCS) (46.00), EQ-5D-5L index (0.75).
  • Higher SNOT-22 scores correlated with lower EQ-5D-5L visual analog scale (VAS) and utility scores, and lower SF-12 MCS and PCS scores.

Conclusions:

  • The EQ-5D-5L indicates a negative QOL impact for British CRSsNP patients.
  • The SF-12 demonstrated lower sensitivity compared to EQ-5D-5L for this patient group.
  • EQ-5D-5L is a practical tool for assessing and comparing QOL in CRS patients across different disease states.
