Summary

Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is upregulated in both decidua and villus tissues of women experiencing unexplained miscarriage. This increased AhR expression suggests a potential role in the development of miscarriage.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the expression levels of AhR in the decidua and villus of women with unexplained miscarriage.
  • To explore the potential association between AhR expression and the pathogenesis of unexplained miscarriage.

Main Methods:

  • Quantitative analysis of AhR mRNA and protein expression using real-time RT-PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry.
