Summary

Two-dimensional (2D) video analysis offers a practical alternative to 3D motion capture for assessing lower extremity kinematics. This study found moderate to strong correlations in the sagittal plane, suggesting 2D analysis can pragmatically evaluate joint displacement and injury risk.
