Dextrose gel treatment does not impair subsequent feeding

Dextrose gel at 200 mg/kg for neonatal hypoglycemia does not impair subsequent infant feeding and may improve breastfeeding quality. This treatment is safe for newborns and supports better feeding outcomes.
