Glaucomatous Optic Nerve Changes and Thyroid Dysfunction in an Urban South Korean Population

This study found that while thyroid hormones like free T4 and T3 may slightly influence intraocular pressure (IOP) in healthy individuals, they are not significant risk factors for developing glaucoma. Thyroid function does not appear to independently predict glaucoma development.
