Abstract:
Stroke is a major cause of death and disability in the United States and rapid evaluation and treatment of stroke patients are critical to good outcomes. Effective surgical treatments aim to restore adequate cerebral blood flow, prevent secondary brain injury, or reduce the likelihood of recurrent stroke.
