Diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) shows promise for grading Crohn's disease (CD) inflammation. DKI parameters like Kapp correlate strongly with disease activity, potentially outperforming conventional diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).

- Kapp demonstrated superior correlation with MaRIA in moderate-severe CD (r = 0.647) compared to Dapp and ADC. ROC analysis indicated high accuracy for Kapp, Dapp, and ADC in differentiating disease activity.
