Summary

Large colloid drusen (LCD) are RPE deposits causing vision loss. En face OCT imaging reveals characteristic structural changes and provides insights into LCD progression and associated visual impairment.

Area of Science:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Retinal Imaging
  • Medical Diagnostics

Background:

  • Drusen are extracellular deposits beneath the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).
