Summary

This study found that a novel negative-pressure suction endoscope is a safe and feasible tool for examining the small intestine in pigs. It allowed for complete visualization without causing damage.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the feasibility and safety of a new negative-pressure suction endoscope for small intestine examination.
  • To assess the efficacy of this device in a porcine model.
