Oral D-galactose supplementation in PGM1-CDG

Oral D-galactose supplementation safely improved phosphoglucomutase-1 deficiency (PGM1-CDG) in a pilot study. Patients showed improved transferrin glycosylation and coagulation, with no adverse effects reported.
