Postprandial glycaemic response to berry nectars containing inverted sucrose

Sucrose inversion in berry products does not significantly alter blood sugar responses. Blackcurrant and lingonberry nectars, even with inverted sucrose, show beneficial effects on glycaemic and insulinaemic responses compared to a sugar reference drink.
