Compound muscle action potential duration in critical illness neuromyopathy

Compound muscle action potential (CMAP) durations and amplitudes are highly specific for diagnosing critical illness neuromyopathy (CINM). Prolonged, low-amplitude CMAPs in CINM patients are more severe than in other neuromuscular conditions.
