Clostridium difficile-Associated Colitis Post-Transplant Is Not Associated with Elevation of Tacrolimus

Clostridium difficile-associated colitis (CDAC) in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients does not significantly alter tacrolimus (TAC) levels, unlike other infectious diarrheas. This suggests CDAC’s primary impact on the colon, not the small intestine, influences drug metabolism differently.
