Periprostatic adipose inflammation is associated with high-grade prostate cancer

Inflammation in fat tissue surrounding the prostate is common in men with prostate cancer (PC). This periprostatic white adipose tissue (WAT) inflammation is linked to higher-grade PC and obesity.
