Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Sensor IRE1α Enhances IL-23 Expression by Human Dendritic Cells

Pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) alter dendritic cell (DC) energy metabolism. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, induced by 2-DG, activates signaling pathways leading to Interleukin-23A (IL-23A) production in DCs.
