Is Depression Related to Low Folate Levels in People with Epilepsy? An Observational Study and Meta-analysis

Low folate levels are common in people with epilepsy (PWE), especially those on certain antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). While not directly correlated in this study, pooled data suggest a mild negative correlation between low folate and depression in PWE.
