Belatacept Rescue Therapy in Kidney Transplant Recipients With Vascular Lesions: A Case Control Study

Switching from calcineurin inhibitors (CNI) to belatacept improved estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in kidney transplant patients with graft dysfunction and vascular damage. This rescue therapy offers a potential benefit for long-term graft survival.

- Belatacept can be a valuable rescue therapy option in challenging immunosuppression scenarios post-kidney transplantation.
