Summary

Endometriosis increases the risk of miscarriage in spontaneous pregnancies by nearly 80%. This meta-analysis evaluated the association between endometriosis and miscarriage, finding a significantly higher miscarriage rate in affected women.

  • A systematic literature search was conducted in Cochrane Library and Medline from inception to December 2016.
  • Included studies compared pregnant women with endometriosis to disease-free pregnant women.
