    Background:

    • The paranasal sinuses are air-filled cavities lined by respiratory epithelium.
    • This epithelium contains goblet cells and glands crucial for mucus production and airway defense.
    • Variations in cellularity may influence sinus health and disease susceptibility.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To quantify and compare the density of goblet cells and glands across different paranasal sinuses.
    • To identify specific sinus regions with higher cellular concentrations.

    • Histological examination of tissue samples from maxillary, ethmoidal, frontal, and sphenoidal sinuses.
