Distinct histopathologic features of radiation-induced chronic sinusitis

Radiation therapy can cause chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with unique histopathology. Radiation-induced CRS (CRSr) shows increased squamous metaplasia and edema, differing from CRS without nasal polyps (CRSsNP) and CRS with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).
