Predicting the Intensity for Performing Supramaximal Incline Treadmill Interval Training in Distance Runners

This study found that running at 125% of maximal oxygen consumption velocity on a 5% incline reliably produces a 30-second supramaximal interval training effort for distance runners. This provides a new guideline for prescribing incline treadmill training intensity.
