Summary

This case report details isolated levocardia with situs inversus in a child. Unusually, the child presented with a normally formed spleen, a rare occurrence in such congenital conditions.

Background:

Situs inversus is a condition where major visceral organs are reversed or mirrored from their normal positions.
Levocardia refers to the heart being in the normal left-sided position.
Isolated levocardia with situs inversus is a rare congenital anomaly.

Observation:

A pediatric case presenting with isolated levocardia and complete situs inversus was documented.
The patient exhibited a normally developed spleen, which is atypical for this condition.

Findings:

The primary finding is the coexistence of isolated levocardia and situs inversus.
A normally formed spleen was observed, contrasting with common associations in similar cases.
