Physical Education and Sport (PES) exercise can trigger cardiac abnormalities in adolescents. These changes, including arrhythmias and repolarization issues, may increase the risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD) during physical activity.

- Intermittent exercise can induce cardiac abnormalities in seemingly healthy adolescents.
