Population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) models reveal that swollen joint count (SJC) and tender joint count (TJC) are most sensitive for detecting rheumatoid arthritis treatment effects. Continuous and binary measures showed similar sensitivity for treatment differences.
