[Myoarthropathies: findings and therapy]

Im myoarthropathies the interplay of the functions of articulation, mandibular joints, muscles and periodontium is disturbed. They are due to occlusal disorders. The oral examination is carried out according to Krogh-Poulsen. The therapeutic procedure involves three steps. Step 1 : elimination of gross occlusal disorders. Step 2: elimination of occlusal disorders after recording of the jaw relations and model analysis on the articulator. Step 3: prosthetic treatment.
