Abstract:
The guiding factors of the movements of the mandible are dealt with, and problems arising in simulating these factors on an articulator are discussed. A technique for measuring the dimensional behaviour of the mandible during moving is presented, and the influence of this phenomenon on the determination of the terminal position of the hinge axis is discussed.
